Hi
I'm looking to set up my own web server. I would use it to host a website for both my Mom's and my Dad's businesses, one for me to stream some of my video work, and more stuff later on.
How fast a Mac would I need? Would my 1.25 ghz G4 be overkill?
Thanks

what's a web sever  , sounds like the last thing you would want to host a website, i am pretty sure it is illegal to run a website from home, buy a plan from somebody and get a good ftp program

Check with your ISP. Unless you have the business edition, hosting a website is usually against the TOS. It's also cheaper to just buy a plan on a linux server from a hosting company.
