Just curious how many people here work for Apple if any.

I didn't think Apple employees were allowed to go on forums like this though.

I sell Apple computers, but Apple doesn't pay me. I arrange for school Mac orders, I talk friends, neighbors, and coworkers into buying Macs and iPods, and I even talk other customers into purchases when I'm visiting Apple Stores (sometimes while wearing an Apple T-shirt). Come to think of it, why doesn't Apple pay me?

If by employ you mean spread the good word of Apple. If not then no, I am still unemployed. Poo.

Same here,
I sell Apple products by recommendation and never see a red cent from it, but I enjoy helping those who ask.

I think we deserve some type of payment for each 'infidel' we convert.

It's funny how our reviews and recommendations here probably sell more Apple products than many of Apple's own sales people could.
We are also directly responsible for many sales to other manufacturers and suppliers like Crucial, OWC,
Newegg and Dell, just to name a few.
The difference is that we are not bound to Apple's
employee regulations.
We're clearly not on any commission
and we simply have no reason to deliberately give somone bad advice.
Our opinions may vary widely,
but in most cases we work together here to help someone with their buying decision or their support questions.
At one point today there were more than 1,800
people viewing these forums.
My reward, is knowing we helped a few of them.
