Will the old Powermac G5's with PCI-X be able to use these new PCI-X graphics cards instead of the AGP, or are we stuck with it?

No such thing as a PCI-X video card.. PCI-X is NOT the same as PCI express

Let's see... a 6600 will do a great job.

A 6800 will do an excellent job.

A 7800 will distort reality around your PowerMac.

right now im rockin on a powerbook, with a radeon 9700, i know i will see a boost from that setup, macworld.com says the 7800 GT is supposed to be a BTO option on the new powermac, but the apple site doesn't have it.

The 7800 will be a BTO for the new Powermac, but is not available yet. You will see a huge performance boost on a G5 compared to your Powerbook, especially if you get the 7800 with it. But the 7800GT will be a $500 BTO option, so you'll pay for it, too.

it's not out yet. if you have a 9700 you should see a huge boost going to a 6600 (but spend the $50 and get the regular not the LE)

How is it compared the 6800? I haven't read any of the benchmarks.
