iPod update help...

I am updating my iPod from version 1.1 to version 1.21.. And it went through the update process and now says "Do not disconnect", and has said this for the last 15-20 minutes. Is this normal? How long should I wait?

If there is a mounted image of the iPod on your desktop, drag it to the trash/eject and you should get a check mark on the iPod saying it is OK to disconnect.
