mail.app menus not working

Hello,

I posted this question in the macosxhints forums with no answer...

I just installed Jaguar and when I open mail.app everything seems to work fine except menus. They just don´t show up when you click on the menu bar. Shortcuts work ok, it's just the menus...

Anybody knows why can this happen?

The Jaguar installation is a clean install, and I use my home folder from my old system 10.1 (don´t know if this may cause any problems). My computer is a B&W G3 (rev1)

Am I right in understanding you can see the menubar items, but can't get the dropdowns? Or is it that you get dropdowns, but no action when you release off an item in a dropdown menu itself?

I can see the menubar but clicking on it does nothing. No menus appear...
