So what gifts will you be giving this year?
It's a tough christmas for us this year because we just moved into a new apartment and bought a lot of new furnishings and such, we bought ourselves a puppy which was actually last month but it's still our christmas present. I had to get her something though so I got her a new Bannana Republic purse and a Palm Zire (which matches our iMac quite well.)
Oh and did I mention that since we probably wont be able to make it to New York like we had planned (and where I was originally going to do this) I'm going to ask her to marry me on Christmas?

I just have a 38 gun and a shootgun, we are prepariong ourselfs for a civil war. They have 9mm, AK-47 and above, I mean Bazoocas. They are civilians too. The political tension is increasing. 3 days ago a policeman was killed, we worked for tursm only (no gun) and last night the police killed 3 of the peopel afected to the goverment. We (the opositions) are the 90% of the population but they have heavy armament. The country is in a 2 weeks national strike, that mean everything is closed for that period of time (banks, malls, MacDonalds, gas stations, oil industry, etc). Everything stop working, even atm machines, just asking for the president resignation and this one doesn't want to leave.
We are expecting a country wide civil war for christmas, so I got my amo.

MyMemory,
Good luck, and I hope that Chavez will step down and your country's peace and order is restored. If not, I wish you the best of luck.
Hopefully the country will step back fromt the brink of civil war, and your lives will return to normal. Now that would be a holiday miracle :)

I'm a cheap-ass and bought most of my gifts at Half-Priced Books.
I picked up Rune, Oni, and Rainbow 6 for $10 for my little brother.
My parents will receive an assortment of slightly used, but new looking books.
Good luck and congrats on the wedding medea. :)
