I don't know if you mean, you didn't know that he designed the original apple logo, cuz he didn't. Just like he didn't design campbells soup cans.

Warhol died in '87, so he didn't get see too much of apple's stuff. He would have had a field day with the iMac and even more so, with iPods.

Well, not only is it Apple memorabilia, but there are only 190 and it comes with an Andy Warhol autograph, hence the high price. Way out of my league, that's for sure :p For the buy-now of $18.5k, if I had that much money on hand, I could get a loaded Quad G5 (except the fibre channel card, which I don't need) with a 30" screen and Applecare, which, while not an autographed Warhol print, would be a great computer.

Then what is this? His version of the logo?

This is Warhol's art. He's famous for his depictions of the Cambell's Soup cans and American consumerism.

BTW, Apple's logo was multicolored up until the mid-late 90s.

You should really read up on your history/popular art history.

Oh yeah, I'll buy one, heck I'm only $18,499 short. Care to spare some change anyone? :p

This is a real cool item though, odd that some people don't know the Apple logo was once rainbow colored, haha :D
