View Full Version : 10.4.3 wont let you use hacked FrontRow?

I had the hacked FrontRow working beautifully on my iMac G5 rev. B for a while...the I upgraded to Tiger 10.4.3, and when i click f8 to open the app, the icon bounces once then dissapears and nothing happens. Did Apple prevent this Hack with the new update?

Thank you for your post. We at Apple Legal always take an interest in our users, especially those who use applications without a license to do so. To what address shall we send the bill for the new iMac G5?

Yeah, I could say this it's still working here, but I won't because I don't want to cause any problems for the site.

sorry, didn't know. I saw the 120+ thread post about the topic earlier so i didnt think it was a problem.

Its ok to say something works and such, but it not ok to say exactly how it to make it work. The other thread got locked, I think. Exactly because of this.

What you can't talk about Front Row on a Mac unless the owner is using an iMac G5... this is beyond stupid. OMFG PIRATES AHOY!

Anyhow whatever, I only tried front row after i updated to 10.4.3 and it worked (sort of) but its a bit... well some of the function does not work (or works sometimes) so ill wait for Apple to do something. Hopefully they will -- but if not i guess we will have to rely on the people that hacked it and are playing about with it to make it work properly in future.

maybe thats one of the resons why they brought out the update.....to stop hacked stuff like that

Your sarcasm aside, pirated software is still not an appropriate topic of discussion here, regardless of how interesting that software is.
