Hi,

I had been using a LCD that has a native res. 1280 * 1024. As I get older, it is really hard to read those size fonts. Are there a way to change the font size for the whole OS X. For instance, in IE 5.2 I can change the text zoom % but I when restart the computer it goes back to the default size.

btw, in Win XP.. they have an "accesbility" menu that I can change the font and icon size for the whole OS. For example. if I change the size to 20 everyhing..photoshop, word, web broweser.. will have a font size of 20.

Unfortunately - NO.
Mac OS X has minimum configurability and options and that is really annoying!!!
I wonder why is that Apple's policy.

BS...it's just not provided by Apple.

Get TinkerTool:

It allows you to modify many aspects of OS X. :)
