Ha, that was good, but you didn't exactly make it hard to find the link.

Look forward to #4!

I know, hee hee but I wasn't sure if people knew what it was, so this way if they found it by mistake they would understand what an easter egg was. :D

I should take up flash animation during my English class, much better than hearing how my teacher met his wife in high school, or how fast he's going to quit if it rains.... and that's not even mentioning Macbeth :(

What program are you using to do this? Flash mx? Dreamweaver?

Great one! You should also make pig doing something cute so we all begin to like the pig

However, you did something wrong.
This one has 175 KB, and I didn't realized it had that much in Chimera until I opened it in IE so when I clicked on that button all I got is white screen.

Solution?
Preloader! Make everything in 2 scenes.
First one, Preloader, with some vector graphics of pig boy and a mac, maybe some logo of them or transparent pic from some older comic with text LOADING somewhere.

Second scene, comic.

If you need some help for the flash side I'll be happy to do it.

A for effort.
Keep it up.
Etc.

Am I the only one though that does not find them funny, entertaining, or anythnig at all???

For the future episodes you need something that's called a point, and it makes the story that much more interesting.

Yes I would agree! :D

Also I think English class is great for thinking of comics, I am always done with my work and have a lot of free time. So I guess now I have something to do. :D

You know, you need to do a comic that plays on the old saying...

"Even a blind pig finds a truffle."

It's always the scourge of the Earth 56k'ers who moan about preloaders. :p

Oh, and there's always the saying about making a silk purse out of a sows ear...

(edit) Maybe, have a little Bill Gates-M$ guy trying to cut off the pigs ears with the saying you can't make a good operating system out of a sows ear.

Ha, what about buying pigs ears at Pets Mart for your dog to chew on?

allright allright! :D

this is simplest preloader i can come up with:

put all your frames into a movie clip and call it piggy

delete all frames

make first frame and make some graphics on it and make it say "preloader" (this is what's it gonna be showed while preloading movie)
make this frame maximum 5-6 kB big

now make second frame and put piggy on it

put stop(); on second frame

that should be it, and if you want more complex preloaders search on flashkit.com for tutorials

it would be nice if preloader said how big is entire movie and how many percent is loaded
that is too long to explain here
you should try make it yourself or send me .fla file i'll fix it up for you

I would liek to create like a little special thread or something for my comic. Now I am not being pushy, even a tiny link at the bottom of the homepage saying "A new episode of Boy Pig Mac is out, click me" I dunno, I just want to make sure that everyone is up to date. This is important because I need tow start making my Boy Pig Mac episodes on my Power Mac G3 because my iBook is nice and clean, I am waiting to see if I get Jaguar for Christmas if I do then I can do a nice clean install :D

So don't worry the Boy Pig Mac (BPM) Series will continue I just have to use my other computer. I will try and have another episode but teh problem is that the file is on my friend's PC and he is away for the weekend, a new comic will definitly here on Monday. I promise ;) :D
