A 'limited time offer' from apple gets you 6months same as cash on all purchases. I'm going to sleep on it though, a new TiBook is making too much sense at this point. Anyone got an idea when this started?

No I havn't seen that before. It used to be 3 months if I remember correctly!!!

I just called the Easton Apple store and they're supporting the in-store same as cash deal as well. Compliment my student discount with it.. damn.

As a close to this thread, I was up at Easton today looking at powerbooks and I spoke with a lady about the 6months same as cash deal. She told me that the offer expires on NewYears day. She also tried to tell me that the current $400off displays deal only applied to purchases of PowerMacs, which I think is incorrect.
