ok - the system profiler still quits just as it finishes gathering (see other post).... but now there are other little probs
1. I cant launch classic the OS nine window opens and it starts to launch, but then hangs - i try a force quit and it does not go away.
2. there are still no pref file for the system profiler after 2 re-boots.
3. the printing (thru gimpprint - as the epson drivers suck) keeps failing after 1 print.
probably more that i'll find later
