Hey folks!
Last night FedEx came to my doorstep and handed me my PowerMac. I'm so happy! I'd like to thank everyone here for helping me figure out what I needed. My final decision was this:

PowerMac Dual Gig G4 512Megs DDR Ram 80 Gig Hard Drive (less than $2700)
another 512Megs of DDR Ram (~$150)
ViewSonic VX900 19" screen ($809)
Formac DV/TV (~$380)

the reasons why I didn't get the 20" Formac 2017 or Apple 22" Cinema:

19" View Sonic 20.1" Formac 22" Cinema Display
1) Cost $809 $1699 $2399
2) Contrast ratio 600:1 600:1 300:1
3) Screen real estate 1280X1024 1600X1200 1600X1200

I went to my Apple reseller to see the 1600X1200 size and it just seemed too small for my eyes to get used to. With the extra money I saved, I'll buy another ViewSonic VX900 and have a dual monitor setup. Apple Displays are overpriced. Save the cash and by at least the Formac if you want 20" or above. As for me, I'll have a dual "19 setup instead.

Once again, thank you all for your help and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!:D :D :D

p.s. Don't Drink and Drive.

I'm pretty sure Apple won't release new Power Macs or Power Books at MWSF, it's just too soon since the last revision.

Even if they do, or have a price drop, you'll have had yours for awhile. I think they'll wait to introduce new ones, after price dropping the current ones, it'll take awhile for them to be shipping, and then when they finally do they'll be at the same, lower, price level. Then everyone will say how they're just overclocked 1.25s. All the while you will have been happily playing along with your Dual Gig, and all you would have saved was a couple of hundred bucks.

Usually I say wait if you can, but if you want/need a machine now, but it now.

Then you get to play with it now.

Congrats.

No, I won't be pissed, believe me, I went through the whole entire thing on why I should wait till MWSF but I've been doing that for the last 2 years. Two Years.... it won't bother me at all unless there's a system that's twice as fast with a G5. I realized that I couldn't wait forever.

Comparing it to my Dual USB iBook is a crazy comparison.

G3 500Mhz to a Dual Gigahertz G4......

Way too fast...in my honest opinion. I'll truly test it out when I'm be rendering in Final Cut.

Here is what I got, but a long time ago:

2.4 GHz pentium 4
512 MB of 333 MHz DDR (that isn't fake)
533 MHz FSB
MS Windows XP Home
Geforce 4 MX w/ 64 MB of video memory
40x10x40x CD-RW
6 USB 2 ports
Dell Quietkey keyboard
Dell 2 button/scroll wheel mouse
A Dell Demension Case

all for just $700 minus shipping. Buying PC's off eBay is a very, very good thing.

Oh, and I don't think new pMacs will come out at MWSF, I just
thought apple might drop the price, add Bluetooth, or do something
to make them better.
