Although this is about to be relegated to page 2, i thought i'd register my interest for a guild on the euro servers (Draenor):D

Think of a name and i'd be happy do put the gold up to start it :)

All we need now is to choose a european server and a guildmaster.

So is there a US WoW guild setup then? If so what server?

The problem with trying to start a guild is that we're already all on different servers. Trying to move everyone onto the same server is unfeasible.

I would be willing to start a new character on a new server if there was a set guild on that server.

Psst... what's a 'server' and a 'guild?' :o

I don't get this gaming jargon. I bought WoW last weekend but um, I'm reluctant to open and install it. :p

When you first set up your account, you're asked to select a realm (which we're referring to as servers, somewhat incorrectly as each realm is comprised of multiple servers, but I digress). Basically, you select a realm which is geographically close to you, to get a better experience (lower pings). You can only play against other players that are on the same realm as you.

A group of people can get together and form a guild. If the Internet were WoW, then the MR forums would be a guild :)

<Snip helpful info>Thanks. I think I get some of it better... now just to decide whether or not I really do want to open up the box and install it... or return it.

Bite and bullet and install it :)

If you want to see me, you need to pick the Bronzebeard realm. With all my luck, none of the other forum members are on that realm

The Silver Apple
Society of Secrets
Knights of Cupertino

OK I'm done now... :p
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Maybe "The Knights MRs" (get it? The Knights Templars?). What server should we put it on? I hope Suramar(US).
