ok, so i'm thinking of getting rid of my powerbook for an ibook of similar or better specs, i honestly prefer the design of the ibook over the powerbook, and plus, they go a lot better with the imac.

now, i'm lookin for trades or cash, not sure how much i could get though, i'd like to get some estimates.

basically its got a lot of wear to it, there are two minor scratches on the screen, no dead pixels, and a couple dents and dings on the casing

anyways, this is strictly a feeler for now, but i wouldn't mind some offers to see what i could get for it

If you don't mind me asking, how did those dents get there? I'm assuming a fall or something fell on it...?

I'm guessing that, like in my school, when you put your backpack down, other kids treat it like a pillow.

no no, this was no ones fault but mine, a lot of the time last year i forgot i had a laptop in my bag (new to the experience) and would just toss my bag down then pause think to myself *OH ******* half the time i had to bang the dents out, it used to be a lot worse, but it looks pretty ok now

You're doing a poor job at up-selling, but I applaud your honesty! :)

oh yeah i know, when i sell things i like to be brutally honest, make sure i don't get any complaints at all, so far its worked out ok. and either way as i said this is strictly a feeler, if i can't get at least an equal or slightly slower ibook i'm gunna keep it

LOL, you put it loose in your backpack? That's what sleeves are for! I think you should keep of it. If you get something new, you're going to get PISSED if something happens to it. But say you drop this and it dents....I mean it's just another dent among many so you won't be mad. Besides...it looks like a warrior.
