hi--i am an independent documentary film maker trying to track down a person
who shot some footage i found around twenty years ago--
i only have his name (which is a very common name) and the state he was
in in the 1980s--has anyone used one of those people search sites ($50 or so)
or do you have any suggestions as to how i might be able to find him using
internet etc.? i have already googled and searched all the free sites
and am thinking i might have to pay but would like to know if those places really work--
thank you--

Either one of those "people search" sites or a private investigator are the only (legal) ways I can think of :D

PI is the best bet, but it will cost quite a bit ($250)
