I have toast 5.0, how can i burn dvd-rw in this drive, or can i?

As of right now..you can't. This has been discussed extensively over in the MacNN forums here (http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=132000). It seems that the drive is capable of 2x DVD-R speeds, 16x CD-R write, 8x CD-RW, etc. It also seems to be a DVD-multi drive, so it should be able to burn DVD-RW and DVD-RAM as well. However, it seems that Apple modified the firmware to limit the capabilities. Someone is working on a firmware fix here (http://forum.firmware-flash.com/viewtopic.php?t=9220).
