Guys, just figured I'd tell you that my Clamshell is on eBay, if anyone is interested. I bought it back a couple of months ago, then realized I didn't really need any laptops, since my eMac does everything I need it to. The details are on the auction page. My friend is selling it for me, since I don't have much experience selling on eBay. Check it out! Here's the link.

EDIT: Mods, I'm not sure if this is cool to post this in here. If not, just delete it. Thanks!!

Your friends not very good at ebay-ing either, just look at that description:rolleyes:

1. If the battery holds charge, say it holds charge
2. Give more detail than "only normal wear for it's age"
3. All track pads are *****

I wrote out the description. :D

I know it's not that detailed and stuff, but it gets the job done. I didn't really use the Clamshell much at all, so I couldn't really say how well it performed. I know that it powered up and ran pretty good when I used it, but I don't know much beyond that.

As far as the "only normal wear for it's age" description, that's about the best description I could give it. It didn't really have any significant scratches that I noticed. It actually seemed pretty much mint to me, as far as appearance goes.

EDIT: God, I definitely should have written out a better description, as I forgot one of the most important parts: this Clamshell comes with an original Apple AirPort card already installed. I'll have to get my friend to add that to the listing.

Uh, yeah, that'll boost your selling price a good $50+. Make sure you say ($80 value) too. :)

Yeah, I sent him an e-mail earlier and told him to go ahead and add the AirPort card to the description. I can't believe I forgot about that. :D

Go for it!

It really did seem like a great Clamshell, other than the trackpad being jerky. I didn't use it for very long when I had it. I had it and the PowerBook and always found myself back at the eMac. I prefer a desktop.

yea it [rob wont go for much w/o the power adapter
most people on ebay look for complete setups (that they dont have to buy anything extra for)
however there are a few scavengers like my self

Yeah, it originally had a Power Adapter with it, but I threw it away because it seemed to be a fire hazard. I had it plugged up and touched the wire and it glowed red in one spot. It scared me, so I unplugged it and threw it away.

Give me a price on that wireless card, PM me. :)

You might sell it faster this way. :)
