Hi,
I've just got the new 17-inch with i-sight. It's my first Mac and an amazing machine.

However, whenever i eject a CD they seem to be very hot! Is this normal or is it just me. :confused:

I have the one before yours and my ejected CDs can get pretty hot, depending on how long they were in there for. Remember that the ventilation system of the iMac G5 is such that the hot air is channelled up to the top of the case, which is where the optical drive is. :)
