I know this is most likely chance at work, but i couldn't help posting this...

Look at the picture again. Then look at a real XBox 360. They both have the same curves. Similar drive placement. They're clones of each other.

I think there have been mounts for pizza-box and thin desktop format cases like that for ages...I seem to remember them having been around since the early nineties at least....

ok, maybe it's just the designer in me, or maybe it's just a crappy picture... but there are SERIOUS similarities between the two cases... especially the overall shape... it has the same curves on the side... the same space breakup on the faceplate and nearly the same drive placement and spacial cues.

Of course, maybe some people also take the post too serious.

either way, i think it's too funny

Great, as if working inside of a PC wasn't cramped enough already, they just squashed a basic tower case.

Cool design for a game console but not a desktop.

I don't follow consoles much, so the rest of you probably noticed this months ago, but in that pic is looks like the 360 has a tray-loading drive. I thought you were supposed to run it vertically, wouldn't that make it difficult to put the discs in? :confused:

Not only does it make the discs difficult to put in; it also makes it easy to scratch them. LINK (http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/news/Xbox-360-Game-Disc-Scratched.htm) -- note that the video on the site (wmv) shows someone putting a disk in while the unit is vertical.

Actually no I don't I had one of those Dell boxes here running a BBS for a while and it looks nothing like a 360, it's a nice photo and all but it looks nothing like a 360 in real life, but I'll admit the Indigo 2 looks like the original PS2 if that helps?

How can you seriously say there is no resemblence? So I suppose lincoln towncar and a ford crown vic don't look anything like each other either? lol... Sorry, but you must need glasses, the dell and the 360 look VERY much alike.

And Calyxman, I've never seen this before so who are you to say old news? If your ideology was true, there would only ever be one post about anything. To the original poster, thanks! I think this is funny as hell and am going to pass this on to a bunch of my friends .... even if it is "old news" :rolleyes:
