I was just abducted by aliens. Yup. Just looking through my telescope when suddenly a flying saucer appeared and sucked me up. I was gone for about three hours. Any significance to this? Anything I should do?

If it was a female Sim, I don't think there are any long-term effects. if it was a male Sim, I'd start picking baby names and save up to buy a cot. :p

Ah, crap. That's why he has morning sickness and is getting fat. Is there any way to get an abortion in this game?

Maxis should make an expansion pack along the lines of 'The Sims 2: Back Alley' - your Sim can solicit prostitutes, buy drugs, get abortions, bet on cockfights, or start a meth lab. Twould be loads of fun.

Twould be loads of fun.They did produce an online, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sims#The_Sims_Online) multi-player version of the original Sims – apparently, it very rapidly descended into something similar to what you describe... :D

This could, supposedly, happen in the original The Sims game as well. I never could get it triggered though.

Also for historical purposes in SimCity a UFO could come down to your town and start blowing things up as a "rare/special" event as well.

They must like UFO special events in them sim games, I guess.

My wife had that happen to a Sim and it came back pregnant and had a green baby.

Well, I did perform some Top Secret military contract work for the Pentagon several years back, and my manager at the time had spent some time at Area 51, so you might be more correct than you think.... :cool:
