Hi.
I've got a Mac running 10.2, a sony TRV-18 MiniDV camera, and am stumped as to how to:

a. Set it up as a webcam (outside of plugging it into the firewire port)
b. Integrate the webcam into a web page (what code is involved?)

Can anyone point me to an online resource or have experience doing this?
Incidentally, I've been able to do it easily with Yahoo Messenger, but I'd like to be able to integrate it into my own website.

thanks!

go grab the quicktime broadcaster... i think it will do the trick for you...

as far as integrating it into a webpage, as long as your cam is publishing video i think you can just use the standard quicktime plug-in stuff in golive or dreamweaver... if not let me know

I've been thinking about the same thing, but I'm wondering, is there any way to use a digital camcorder as a still frame webcam, that would capture/upload a new frame routinely after a certain time period? I'd like to set up a webcam like this, and I know that using a camcorder for stills is a little unorthodox, but I already have one and can't really afford a digital camera or dedicated webcam. So... any ideas?
