SuperDrive won't read DVDs

My superdrive is all of the sudden refusing to read DVDs. It reads CDs just fine, and I burned a DVD just a couple hours ago. any ideas?

From system profiler: MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-845E

From a firmware perspective, try resetting the PRAM (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=2238) and if that doesn't work, reset the PMU (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=14449). :)

actually, a simple reset seems to have solved it. thanks though.
