Mac 'language' ? Newbie... [Archive]

Sorry to bother ya'll again :( I need to 'learn the Mac language'? Some things I am picking up , but some are still pretty 'Greek' to me. For Example: whats AGP (may have the letters in wrong place here) and what do these 'numbers' mean? (not sure of order of these either just making them up) 10.12.27 - something like that.

In short if you can o.k. Jacquar <spg> is a 'speed up' program (I guess) so if you can Jacquar = speed

10.12.27 means<?> =

etc.

AGP = "Advanced Graphics Port" (?), a slot on both PCs and Macs into which you insert a video card upgrade.

"Jaguar" = not-very-secret code name of Mac OS version 10.2. The latest revision is 10.2.3. You can only run one operating system at a time. To see what you're currently running, click the Apple in the upper left corner, then click "About this Mac" from the menu which will drop down.
