Boy, this has really pissed me off in the past few minutes. A well raced Multiplayer and as soon as I pull off the win the guy drops.
Do we know how this gets scored?

as of now I dont think the race counts. He definitely doesn't get a loss. Hopefully the deployment team is working on a way to fix this but they weren't as of a few months ago when the game first came out. However, that doesn't mean it will never be addressed. They are aware people are doing it because we mentioned it during the beta test.

edit: after reading the below post maybe they did address it a little. I haven't played a lot lately. Had the game for quite a while before it came out lol. Initially the other person didn't get a loss and you didn't get the win if it was a one on one race. If their were multiple players then didn't get the loss and you or whomever still received the win.

I'm sorry, you were kicking my ass ;)

nah... I like those who drop out. they add to my win ratio and they lose a point so its all good!

it is a bit of a let down hearing that cut-off chime though.

Last I heard, when someone drops out, it counts as a loss for them and a win for the opponent.

It's taken me a while in the past. I liked to play regional/UK and finding a full set of opponents at 3am is a little difficult. Never a problem with worldwide. always full of people.

It takes me about 10 minutes max. I do regional during the day, and worldwide at night. I play at random times.

Ive played many games where they were being beaten very badly when they disconnect, its really annoying.
Does anybody know of a way to view your own wins/losses?

Just go into Records at the main screen. Should say there.

I admit that even though I get points, it annoys me because I lose my opportunity to gloat and smile at my victory.

Why do people who drop out play in the first place? It is not to have fun. They seem to be there just to win and when that does not happen they give up. What annoys me is that it takes a few minutes to collect another three players for an online race so the quitters waste one slot.

I had a really good match last night. it was a 3 player one and 1 guy dropped out (Japanese, I think) but me and this other guy were equal... sorta. I just beat him by a few cm's or something!

90 wins, 3 losses :)

They are probably stupid and don't know they get a loss by doing that.

I suck at this game, but I would never drop out. I remember this was a problem with Command and Conquer for the PC but I can't remember how they fixed it.
