Not sure why but got a not enough memory message with multi connections.
Got a bomb alert also, able to quit OK! :)

I have 1.25GB RAM on my G4 Power Mac.

I'm using 9.2 myself and haven't yet tried X. Does OS X have a similar crash state?

Well, sometimes it just freezes. And I had a so called 'kernel panic' screen. but it is a while ago. I can't rerally remember what it looked like. Try google.
