I know these are rare--they pop up on ebay once in a while. Just wanted to see if anyone has one for sale. This would make a great first computer for my daughter.
Thanks.

do they really still go for $350? You could buy a Snow iMac for much less and then paint flowers on it yourself....

That's not bad for one that's upgraded like that...640MB RAM and a 40GB HD.

Or you could get a refurbished Mac Mini...

I have noticed that Mac's tend to hold value a lot better than their PC counterparts. But like anything depreciation hurts at times :) I would bet i could get $350 for mine as configured in my sig.. i think.
My iMac is upgraded :D Installing Tiger on it as i type

Exactly! Can you tell my wife that? I made the mistake of showing her the Flower Power once and now she wants it for our daughter. I keep telling her I can get the Strawberry or Grape for under $80 on craigslist but these FPs are so rare--and expensive. You can get a loaded Snow G3 or even a Rev A eMac or mac mini for these prices...

snow G3's are cool too because the resemble the "newer" macs...like the eMac, etc. If looked into getting one myself, but I can't stand the CRT's.

How about a ruby iMac G3 DV SE? It's decent, more rare than the others, and not too pricey. I got one a while back for $150 on eBay.

mine is stil up for grabs, but to be honest i din't know that it was this rare....maybe i should be askin a little more than 160....and for the recort the 'charing' is absolutely nothing, the speaker is still fully functional and everything

I seem to remember most people here hating them though. And they didn't do very well in the stores... how long did they last? Less than a year i think.

Haha - yeah you put it exactly right. Apple has a history of making things that are too "Different". I have to admit I thought they were pretty ridiculous back then, but now they seem pretty awesome.

I guess they were too "Different"
And that's why they demand higher prices now. The oddball Apples that don't sell well always cost more later on.
