Anyone know the plausability of this? Like an iBook plastic enclosure, but under the clear plastic the book is covered in protected solar panels.

Some watches can charge from any light source, not just solar; does anyone know more about this technology and how expensive it is?

One company used to make these; pads that zipped shut like a trapper-keeper but opened into solar panels, and plugged into the PowerBook's power port. There were also smaller versions that strapped to the lid, so you didn't have to worry about finding a place for the big panel. It didn't provide enough charge to run the 'book, but it did extend battery life somewhat dramatically. I haven't seen these products at all lately, i assume power consumption is simply too high to suppliment with solar power.

If someone could post the name of these panels, i'd be greatful, i would actually like to get one for a 3400. A novelty, surely, considering i'd use it in the car at most, but still cool.
