Can someone tell me what AAC encoding and stuff is, I was just reading the QT 6.1 updater and I saw the thing about AAC encoding.

AAC is a new audio compression. Also known has mp4 (I believe) it can attain the same quality as mp3 at lower bit rates (smaller files).
