I'm selling an Apple USB Modem. This is the new modem they began selling recently when they started removing the internal modems from iMac G5's. I have not used this, as a matter of fact it is still in the packaging that Apple sent it in....never even opened the box to look at it. As some of you may know, Apple replaced my RevA iMac G5 with a RevC d/t all the problems I had with the RevA. They also sent me a free Apple USB Modem since the RevC no longer has a modem on it and the RevA that I bought did. This is BRAND NEW. It costs $49 from Apple. I'll sell it here for $40 shipped, or maybe best offer if it is reasonable. I can take Paypal too or a Post Office Money Order.

Here is all the info from Apple's website.

Easily connect to the Internet using your dial-up service with the Apple USB Modem. Small and light, it connects to the USB port on your iMac G5, Mac mini or Power Mac G5.

The Apple USB Modem is a simple, one-piece external USB modem that's perfect for people who use a dial-up connection to access the Internet and do email. It's small, light, easy to install and even easier to use.

Just plug it into the USB port on your Mac, then connect your phone line to the other end. Open the networking preference panel in Mac OS X, enter your connection information, and click connect. Now you're ready to start surfing, emailing, instant messaging and more.

Um... This was posted in 2006!

Wow - this has been the 2nd post in the past couple of days to bump an old thread. A suggestion for next time: take note of the date it was posted!
