Who here it MacRumors do you think would be the biggest wiseguy, or rather, the MacRumors Jester? You know, the comic relief... Any names?*

Personally, I nominate scem0 for his random, weird, yet (sometimes) funny posts...

* Hopefully this won't offend anyone. If you are offended by being called a wiseguy or a jester, then tell someone like arn. Just remember though, it's all in good fun...

since when has a jester been synonymous with comedian?

cause either mischief or eyelikeart got my vote for comedian but not jester.. because i believe them to be seperate.

where am i wrong?

a jester.... someone to laugh at (not mock)

If my timing is off or I happen to be picking on you on a given day I'd be the Jester..... Sometimes I'll volunteer a particular piece of flamebate to draw fire off of somebody else.

Now that I think about it, it would be a tie between mischief and eye. mischief's posts are great, but he just can't compete with some of eye's threads.

How about mschief for funniest individual posts and eye for funniest threads.

well the huey thing... just a pic i found..looks unmarked to me!

ive got a thing for unmarked helicopters, chupacabras, MIBs, etc. etc. you know paranormal crap. huge art bell fan.
used to visit www.parascope.com ... when it was up of course.

*sigh* just something to kill the time... makes my life that much more fun i guess.

i especially enjoyed it when this crap (http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=16957)happened in my area...

im in the process of constructing a website dedicated to this *********. trying to figure out how to make it stand out from all the other informative pages of this sort. maybe ill make ill have a comedy/ satire slant to it. who knows.

And for the MacRumors wiseguy/jester (or whatever fits in the 'annoying, yet sometimes funny' category)-scem0

We've gotta have a poll on this... but only with the consent of those nominated... If you wish to nominate someone, speak up by the end of the week! If you are nominated, yet decline the nomination, then I guess that's ok (we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings), but I assure you that the winner will be able to proudly display his/her/its new title in their signature... If they want to...

I dunno about this.

I can remember countless times summer of last year when the amount of spam that flew between KC, MacAztec, me, and Alphatech made me laugh out loud more often than any other threads in the forum.

The "alien" thread anyone?

But since those days are long gone...

I'd say that the most amusing posts I'ved read here come from alex_ant, seeing as his political and social satire are beyond equal.

mischief's and eye's posts are funny enough, but strangely enough they have never made me laugh out loud.

If you take a vote, I'll write in beez7777 on my ballot for making the single post with the highest laugh to length ratio, i.e., the post with the fewest words that made me laugh the most.

My sense of humor is probably warped from reading too many issues of Mad Magazine, but I'll tell you the only time I really laughed out loud at a post, and see if anyone else even remembers it.

It was last August in the The truth behind "Jag-Wire" (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8803) thread. scem0 had proposed this interesting theory:Maybe it means that aliens are taking over the earth, but they are doing it with wires that are jagged, and they have mind controlled steve jobs because they know that mac fanatics will do whatever he says, so he will use SJ as a pawn, who will in turn use us as pawns to take over the world and turn us into slaves. i hate country music...i am starting to like some of the new punk/grunge/hard rock or what some people call numetal

and the link to the band disturbed on your site is cool...i like creed a lot even though i can't name any of their albums...but i can sure recognize their music

my next guitar may be the tremonti model by paul reed smith, a very affordable yet playable electric guitar...right now, i am using the same guitar as one of the guys in CoC (esp/ltd viper 301)
