Can i use this with a powerbook as a regular hub..if so do i connect it via usb or firewire? and do i need to also plug it in with a ac adapter..or will jus plugging it in via usb or firewire be good enough? :confused:

It would not recommend it for a Powerbook. It would not work well with the way it is designed.
