Hi guys, I found these links via Slashdot on possible problems with the intel core duo, they don't sound too serious but I thought you might want a look :)

All CPUs have errata.

The 7410 (G4) has 21 (http://www.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/errata/MPC7410CE.pdf).
The 7447 (G4) has 36 (http://www.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/errata/MPC7457CE.pdf)
The 970FX (G5) has 24 (http://www-306.ibm.com/chips/techlib/techlib.nsf/techdocs/79B6E24422AA101287256E93006C957E).

All I care about is, will this be noticeable in my MacBook Pro or can they be worked around with software updates?

The OS already boots and runs apps fine. I don't even think software updates will be required.
