if you like discussing your favorite movies, IMDb (http://imdb.com) has a very large community. the boards aren't as powerful as others, but the content more than makes up for it.

macosxhints (http://forums.macosxhints.com/) is another board i go to infrequently for os x and darwin modding/hacking.

xlr8yourmac (http://bbs.xlr8yourmac.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi) i visit as much as MR.

arstechinca (http://arstechnica.infopop.net/OpenTopic/page?a=frm&s=50009562&f=8300945231) has a very good mac section of their forums too, even if the site is pc-centered.

Well, I'm sure there are, but this is only the second forum I've
posted at, and the 1st one was blizzforums, which got old quick.

As far as Mac forums, this is the only one I like. I think it's the whole package at Mac Rumors and we owe our gratitude to Arn and everyone that contributes to this forum.

Has anyone checked out the Digidesign forums lately? Lot of heated stuff about Pro Tools 6.0 being late. :eek: Digidesign owners are not as forgiving as Mac owners, that's for sure. :mad:

macgurus.com has the best and most intelligent tecnical troubleshooters (especially on RAID systems, and older hardware).

baseboard.net had a strong design vibe, and a fun community.

but much fewer active members. So, it will be hard to
answer that question.
