I got my new 17" imac yesterday, and fired up x-plane on it. Although I was expecting it to be slow due to rosetta, it wasnt, in fact it was very playable. the frame rate was great, but i think the game turned down the visibility. The imac is stock, and the x-plane is the latest version, I think 8.32. However, I only installed generation 7 scenery, so it'll probably be slower with 8 or the really good one. Anyone else try the game on one of the new macs?

That's interesting to hear your report. I checked a few days ago and still did not see word on their site about a UB version to come out.

Thanks man, I was really worried that I would have to move to Microsoft flight simulator on a PC. Are you using the yoke and peddles?
Now if I could be ASA to port over their sim and training software I can get rid of the PC all together.

Are you using the yoke and peddles?
Please recommend me some nice ones!
I just got X-Plane 8, and am dying to have some "real flying experience!"
Cheers in advance!
