All right, I am still meesing with CSS, trying to get a site to work the way I want it too. Now I have the layout down and it seems pretty browser friendly.

What I'm getting now, though, is a one or two second delay on the page when all of the text and images are visible, but the stylesheet hasn't kicked in, whisch means a very strange looking layout for a minute. Then the style kicks in and my laout goes back to where it should be.

I'm on broadband at home and at work, ut I'm wondering if this is a longe delay on dialup. i am importing a server based style sheet that is in the same directory as the page.

Any sugestions?

here's the site (http://www.nhhproductions.com/qualitylit/)

I don't see a delay in Safari or OmniWeb over DSL. Good job making it OmniWeb compatible, BTW.

I'm on 28.8k dialup and it loaded pretty quick for me.http://img.ranchoweb.com/images/veronica/smiley.gif

Edit: I just tried it in a different browser and it did have that delay you mentioned. Very brief though.
