I am sure all of us here agree that Macrumors is a wonderful website, but it is rather bland looking. Is the site every going to get a "facelift"?

User CP/options/themes (near the bottom, where an avatar would be) and set it to OSX theme.

It's a bit slower, but a great improvment in looks I think.

I think hes talking about the homepage not the forums vniow, but as far as that goes "don't fix what is not broken."
Actually there was an earlier thread on this and I think that was the general populations view on it.

Well I dont know what your scripts allow, but maybe just a graphical border overlay instead of plain red and blue boxes would be a big improvement.

Also, the links at the top of the page (Home, Submit a Story, etc) Could be integrated into some sort of graphic/link nav thing instead of just being plain text floating up there... maybe including simple rollovers.

some color would be keen.

I would love to see a black background. I know that can be
corny and annoying at times, but is there a single mac rumor
site with a black background? To my knowledge there isn't.

But white has a lot less dissadvantages, so I am fine with white.
Maybe do something with text rollovers on links and such.
That's all I can think of as of now. I may think up something later. ;)

Some cool looking sites:

http://www.spoono.com/

http://www.mix2k.hpg.ig.com.br/menu.html

Who cares about older browser support? I don't think there are
that many people who come here on their Lisas. Something
modern. I would get some more sites, but my sister is kicking me
off the comp :o ;) :D .
