They'll be waiting until September, according to recent reports. I'd get the PowerMac.

If this is for the PowerMac and monitor this is a good deal with all that RAM. Someone should jump on this! The Intel PowerMac (Mac Pro?) is still not going to have support right away.

Well, let's see... a 17" Core Duo iMac sells for $1200 and it has a nice monitor built in. Your PM is $1600 with no monitor, and no warenty and is likely slower then the iMac or will be slower after the universal binaries come out. If I had $1200 to spend I'g go for the iMac.

Sorry but you _did_ ask.

PCI-X

2GB of RAM

but a crappy video card make it a somewhat bittersweet deal.

time to include some software as a mouth-waterer

Why are you sorry? Are you purposely trying to insult me? I asked for input so its all good.

lemme see, the 9800 has been out longer than the 9600XT and is still far superior.

Its a crap card comparitively, when you think about it being newer, but not better.
