Hey guys

I've got plenty of old PC games, which need Windows 95 or DOS to run.

Know any easy to use dos/95 emulators out there?

Thanx

Any other options? And why do you suggest dos 2 box?

Because Dosbox works with just about any game out there. Nothing better, IMO.

Best idea is to scour around for a used old Pentium PC. o.O

But if you must, VMware is the best.

If it's only older DOS games you want to play, I'm with Dosbox on this. It's pretty easy to set up, configure and is crossplatform. You can very easily set the CPU "speed" it emulates.

It even works on my Intel iMac, though unfortunately it's not Universal, and runs at nearly 90% CPU meaning there is little leeway for increasing the emulated CPU speed.

But if you want to play windows games, you'll need something else like qemu.

Would WINE or DARWINE work?

not really darwine doesn't really work yet... dosbox is the way to go (petit dosbox is my fav. here (http://web.jet.es/guilly/slouc/software_petitdosbox.html)) it plays any dos game... it even comes with built in dosbox but that didn't work for me... click here (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/download.php?main=1&begaming_website_session=4dda0d6fd5b43e707dc2a5c4ff8fd02e) for the dosbox download page
