I have a mess of .cab ebooks that I would really like to read on my mac. is this possible?

I hope so. I'm a sucker for books

What application opens the .cab ebooks on your PC? Maybe there's an equivalant version on the Mac.

i dont use ebooks so i dont know if this reads .cab files. it says it reads ebooks.

just did a quick search at versiontracker.com (if you ever need to find an app look at versiontracker.com, sourceforge.org, and freshmeat.net)

link to application (http://www.palmdigitalmedia.com/S=b6ab95f6c78e501b3cca38527b88cf50PdpNoMCoAA0AAH3ZKqE618990/product/reader/detail/7)

Well i'm not familiar with .cab files at all, or even ebooks for that matter, but i think i have a solution for you. There is a program called Palm Reader that promises to let you read ebooks on your mac the same way you can on a Palm device. I don't know if palm ebooks are the same as .cab format, but if they are, you'll like this. Lots of features.

Best of all, totally free. It can be found in the downloads section of

http://www.palmdigitalmedia.com/

Hope this is what you're looking for.

[edit]: damn, ambitiouslemon, you beat me to it. i guess you really are ambitious...
