All right here is what I’m looking to do. Maybe trade my quicksilver and the display in my signature for a newer iBook or an iMac with similar specs or just put it up for sale. The reason I’m looking to get rid of it is because it’s taking up to much room on my desk and I would like to get something portable for my wife to use or something smaller for my desk. Now back to the quicksilver this unit has an upgraded cpu (OWC with a three year warrantee left on it). I never had any problems with it. The display has no dead pix. BOTH ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. Keyboard is also included sorry no mighty mouse. So let me know what you all think.

PS: If I do decide to either trade or sell this unit I will only deal with the US only. I will not ship this unit outside of the USA so please do not ask

An estimated price would make it a much more useful "feeler". ;)

It is a feeler and I'm allowed to give a suggestion on price...

The 17" ADC, I'd ballpark at $250.

The upgraded Quicksilver G4 1.2ghz/512/60/Combo - $480.

Who dares to tell me I'm wrong?!

I think you could get a lot more on the QS. I had mine on Craigslist a bit back as a feeler and people were cool with $800.

I'm not sure if you're joking or serious, but from my point of view.. $300 is around $250.

If you look on ebay, they do go higher than $250 sometimes, but ebay is an inflated market. Those people don't know what they're buying or how much they should pay.

Two questions, one comment.

First, how long ago was this? And where did you sell it?

Second, your stock machine with more ram and a superdrive... may truly be worth more than a machine with a 3rd party (read possible problems) installed cpu upgrade, less ram, and a combo drive. IMHO.

This was about 3 months ago, but I think that's still a "fair" price. More RAM means nothing...it was just an extra 256MB that you can get for what? $20?

I think they equal each other out, except that ever though the OWC could have potential problems, it has a 3 year warranty where as mine had no warranty on anything what-so-ever. I think Redflow's PM is worth more.
