I hope this includes a fix for this ridiculous issue with "non-destructive editing." I've got an iMovie with a total of 8 minutes worth of footage, and it's taking up 16gb on my hard drive because it doesn't actually delete what I tell it to crop (and no, it's not in the trash).

Just iTunes for me, then... I don't have iLife 06.
Edit: I hope this fixes a minor issue I've been having. Everytime my iBook wakes from sleep whith iTunes running, Multiple speakers have been selected, and not just my Airport Express, and since I'm not opening my firewall just to play music over my inferior computer speakers along with my stereo, then this causes Airtunes to have a hiccup and then choose just the Computer... :(

The mechanism for creating and editing the Ken Burns Effect in 6 was really anoying...they had the right idea with a widget-type window...but it was just missing the finishing touches...hopefully this update solves it.

Does iPhoto allow you the option to choose HomePage or iWeb for publishing pictures. I had to go back to iphoto 5 since 6 took the homepage feature away. I wont upgrade with iweb making such huge webpages that dial-up users cant access.
Any adjustments in webpage sizes in iWeb?

Nope... it's iWeb only. You know you can do it manually through Homepage on the .mac site? Not quite so convenient but a trade-off if you want the other iPhoto 06 features.

Cool. iLife is due to be at our doorstep when I get home from work tonight. Looks like I'll be updating before I even use it.
I'm really interested to see how iWeb works out. I've always been a major unix geek, and I've written all my html by hand for over 10 years now (my html editor of choice is vi :D). For years with photos, I'd used my own custom scripts to resize images and generate html templates which I edited before uploading to my web space. But then iPhoto made the whole process so much faster (and better looking, to boot), that even I, a major control freak when it comes to the details of this stuff, ditched my homegrown system for iPhoto + .Mac. I'd love it if iWeb did the same thing for my generic web pages.
The tinkering was fun in my 20s, but now that I'm 30, I'd rather just get good results quickly and move on to other fun stuff instead of tweaking for hours. ;)

Nice to see some updates - I actually just installed my brand new copy of iLife 06 a few days ago. Also, it's good to see that there is nothing too major with these updates - just little enhancements and tweaks to address some minor things. It's nice not having new software with a ton of bugs and glitches in it. ;)

I'm afraid I have to burst that bubble... I usually don't have any issues with Apple software updates, but this time, updating iPhoto led to a library that seems to have forgotten where its files are. All the thumbnails are there, but double-clicking them just leads to iPhoto "loading" the photo indefinitely. Same for all photos. However, dragging a photo to the desktop (making a copy) works fine, and then afterwards that particular photo will be viewable in the library. It was working fine with 6.0, so I'm assuming it was the update. I decided to rebuild my library (but my library is huge, so it's taken about 3 hours so far and it's still got about 1 hour left).
I'll report back when it's done, hopefully everything will be straightened out! :P
[EDIT] Hmm, the time remaining jumped to 5 hours. And then iPhoto crashed. Trying again..
[EDIT 2] Relaunched, automatically rebuilt the thumbnail cache (took about an hour?), but then I found that the problem still existed in the last ~550 items. I copied them all to a temporary folder, deleted the folder, and then they were accessible again. Everything seems to be working now... very odd.

Sorry to hear you had some issues with the update. And actually, i was referring to the fact that these updates have been released to correct relatively minor issues - it's not like Apple dropped the ball, released some seriously buggy software, and this is the patch for it. (HA ha - patch...) Regardless, I hope you get everything back in working order and it stays that way. :o ;)

Has Apple finally integrated QT to iTunes to stream the sound from music videos via AirTunes to speakers connected to AirPort Express? It is such a pain when iTunes plays the music over AirTunes, comes to "bonus" video file and starts to play using my crappy built-in iBook speakers until it comes back to "regular" audio file played directly with iTunes. Come on Apple, do we ask for so much? We don't want to stream video with AirTunes, just sound when selected so in iTunes we are using for music videos now.. Where is the difference (for end user, for you it is that you didn't integrate AirTunes to QuickTime)? If this huge bug is not fixed, I am not upgrading to new iTunes, last time I upgraded to 6.0.2 and it caused strange iTunes behaviour when some songs are cut at the end, sometimes it is running through the playlist like crazy w/o songs being actually replayed,... It was my 1st bad experience with minor Apple update, not gonna upgrade for some fancy new features not getting real bugs fixed this time!

My site went from 5.1 MB to 4.5 after the update. Most of that came from my photo album--it went from 2.8 to 2.3 MB. It might be a little faster than it used to be. Unfortunately, it still has a nasty habit of creating large images of text.

I totally agree, however I don't see why they haven't duplicated (or IMPROVED UPON!) the QT interface within iTunes w/o necessarily having to go as far as launching QT as a helper app.
Apple has the opportunity for being the leader in downloadable video now too, but they seem to be blowing off the user experience. Had the iTunes user experience been as half-assed (controls, ability to edit TV or Music Video meta data for multiple files, comparable performance, etc.) with music as it seems to be now with video, then iTunes/iPod would most likely not be as dominant today.
I look forward to Apple ironing out these wrinkles soon as iTunes moves from music player & store to true multimedia manager.

and they still didn't fix the blog date issue. sheesh. did they not think that people might want to make blog entries for days other than today?
maybe I just missed it, but I also don't see an option to make your own templates. there's only one that I'd actually use, and it has pictures of scary looking people as presets. after seeing the Webmonkey review (which strangely seems to have vanished) I was all excited about the possibilities. but there's no template editing tool and the template files inside the .app bundle are filled with incomprehensible XML.
