Slot loading CDRW Problem in Ti Powerbook

Here is a really odd one - I wonder if anyne else has had the problem.

When inserting a blank CDR in to the drive the drive spins away for a few secconds and them throws the disc back out.

Tried loads off different (branded) blank CDs but I am lucky if the drive accepts 1 in 10.

Before I place my laptop in hospital - wondered what you all throught...

Happens every now and then to me but it's not consistant. i have the same machine you do
