Nice... the supported Mac OS is listed as "Macintosh". Just "Macintosh". Not like the million flavors of Windows listed. I suppose that's amazing, as apparently it will run on any Mac, ever. Cool.

So is that a typing error?

It's probably supported through .NET, which as far as I've seen, still isn't running on Macintosh.

Yeah, that's all very funny, but this is my favourite part...

Looks like Microsoft are trying to add more minutes to an hour. Maybe that's the basis for their "Microsoft Time" when installing applications. "5 seconds remining....you go and get a cup of tea.....return......2 minutes remaining..."

Hrm... maybe just M$ telling everyone that if they want to use it, Mac users can just use DirectX with Virtual PC (maybe they are turning VPC into a paid version of Wine or something similar?).

Forgive my ignorance, but does this mean we will be able to play some PC games on our macs?

No, this means Microsoft are a bunch of idiots and wrote "Macintosh" in the list of compatible systems for no reason.
The download is a .exe, so there's no way to install it.

Yeah... um... why does it say Macintosh...?
Even if someone's running Virtual PC or XP or Vista on a mac, that's still already covered by the rest of the list...
I'm really confused

There are several OSes listed that were not listed in the previous list. This includes Windows 98 amd Windows 98 SE.
Either this is an *incredible* update with first support for Mac OS, or this is simply a typo, could even be an incorrect database call.
Time lists as 1hr 60min, and Macintosh is listed as supported... very likely an Error.

It would cost them a LOT to release direct x on mac. It would probably cost them a lot of market share if people could game better on a mac.
Speaking of which, people have finally booted linux on the CD imacs, so windows can't be too far off.
