Great price on a great system. Too bad I dont have the moolah to take it off your hands :(

However, if you decide to sell the software seperately, I would be interested in the Adobe Creative Suite disks.... what is the version #?

jlmk please :)

I would be interested in the Display, but that's about it as I've sunk about 300 bucks into my Powermac G4 recently to upgrade various things. If you are willing to sell jsut the display, please let me know.

Good luck on the sale!

I also have several pieces of software on legal academic license that I can add for $50. These include Final Cut Express 2, Adobe Creative Suite, and Macromedia Suite 2004. I will include boxes and discs.

The Adobe products (and probably the others) are not legal to sell or otherwise transfer on an academic license as clearly stated in this (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=2155921&postcount=18) post.

I believe it would be legal to transfer if I give them the discs, and they prove that they are of academic stock, by a scan of student ID or letterhead sent to me.

Adobe Creative Suite is the first version, not CS2.

To the person who asked about the display: I'd be willing to sell that seperately.

Believing something doesn't make it true.

You can't transfer the license for an educational version of an Adobe product.

May I ask why you are selling? Is there anything you are interested in trading for? The reason I ask is because I have an iBook G4 that I'm looking to replace with a desktop system... and I see you already have someone interested in your monitor, which I wouldn't have use for.

I'm selling because I want a new computer, a new computer of the same variety/performance class, and I want to sell it now and buy the new one when it comes out later.

No trades other than a 30GB video iPod for $200 of the price.

Fair enough!

The way that would work is I'd give you $200 for the iPod, use it to back up my computer's HD since it's more convenient than DVDs, and then format the comp and sell it to you for $200 less.

The Powermac and Studio Display are available individually for $1400 and $300 repectively. Both have people interested in them, but neither are yet able to pay up front in cash, so they're still available.
