It's easy. Buy hundreds, or thousands of bumper stickers that simply say: Impeach Bush

That's it, very simple, nothing funny in it. The message must be the same for everyone that wants to do this. Now blanket your communities with them. Put them on car windshields (still with backing) put them in mailboxes, give them out to everyone.

Just think, if everyone does this, it will be hard to ignore going down the road.

It's worth a try at this point.

I think, by the time a bumper sticker campaign gets really going, he will be out of office anyway (2008).

The effort, whatever the outcome, is commendable.
I think that many people will say what they think, but very few will actually do something about it.

interesting idea, but you'd still have to convince people why Bush deserves to be impeached.

The fact that the reasons may seem obvious to you, or even to quite a few - does not negate this point.

Besides, how far down the line of succession would we have to go?

Well, if this does ever get off the ground, and every street in the US has this message on it, then anyone who looked back at this awful time in history, would be aware that the majority of American people do not support this administration. It is quite literally, the least we can do and still do something.

Those bumper stickers have been on cars since 2001 in my neck of the woods. Not a really effective tool in bringing it about. Step one - elect a Congress that gives a damn when he breaks the law. Then we can talk about step two.

Right. It's not the people who vote to impeach the President, it's the HofR that must decide. What good does putting a bumper sticker on my Beetle do if I live in TX?

The best thing to do is write your Representatives. Demand that he/she press for impeachment. Picket outside of the Capitol if you have to.

Down here in Texas, I might get shot if I did that. Besides, I supported him in both elections. Having said that, do you guys really want Dick Cheney to be president? I know I don't. :eek:
