If you read my sig I've got the following:

12" 1.5ghz PowerBook G4
768mb RAM
80gb HD
Superdrive
BT w/Enhanced Data Rate
Airport Extreme
Extended Applecare

and

15" 1ghz PowerBook G4 Titanium
1gb Apple RAM
60gb HD
Superdrive
Aiport Card

The MBP has been taunting me since about a week ago. Both machines are in GREAT condition and BOTH come with ORIGINAL PACKAGING, CDs, Manuals, Paperwork. I would like to get $2300 for the Combo ($1200 for the 12" and $1100 for the Ti) or I would be willing to sell separately.

Although this is a feeler I will also take offers, and if you would like some pictures - I'd be more than glad to take them, I only accept PayPal for payment and the machine(s) would be sent via UPS ground with insurance (optional - buyer pays).

Applecare?

The original post states that the 12" does and the 15" doesn't.

Is that about the max for those, or would a new battery get a longer charge?

I hadnt paid too much attention to these as they were an early system but I love the design. I think apple went backwards in their design. Looks better than the MBPro.

This is a shot from coconutBattery, this battery is the original and it's got 89% of it's original battery left:

Well im in the market for a laptop but am also someone who likes to travel(expensive hobby for 19 yr old) so Im trying to find one that has almost everything I would like for a decent price. Hopefully, apple will give us some info tuesday on future ibooks, number one on list right now. Then ill have a better idea just how interested in this I am. I had a current ibook but it was too bulky and the resolution was too low so I returned it. This Ti book looks better and is about the same price.

EDIT: do you know any good sites for reviews on these? Id like to learn more.

Ah, all you people with Tuesday, alright - that's fine, but if somebody wants it before then it's going to them so you know ;).

Seriously Laurence, how long does a Mac last you? 2 weeks ;) :p

My 12" PB has been with me since August '05 :) but the only way I can get a new 15" PB or a MBP is to sell these two machines.

If I had the money I would buy the 12" PowerBook, well I do have the money, but I want that Intel MacPro...

Hmm, would you ship to New Zealand or not? ;)

Hey, if you were interested and willing to split the shipping (idk how much it would cost) maybe I would... :).

I'll have a think about it, if anyone else wants it, they can take it. But if its still there when I have decided I may take it, dont count on it though ;)

I sold amacgenius the 15" Powerbook a few weeks ago. I was the original owner of it and it had Apple Care but it expired last month.

That's right, expired in December '05:

I decided I would like to keep the 12" PB and just sell the Ti in hopes of being able to afford an Apple refurb, so I put the Ti on eBay, special for MR members:

if you win, send me a message with your MR username and I'll insure the PB for free!

Thanks. I would be interested in the Ti but since you're the second owner, I'd like to know that there were no more than one previous owners.
Good luck with your sale.

As ipacmm said, this is a great PowerBook - 2 owners (although I've only had it a few weeks, so idk if I can be considered an "owner") and there's nothing wrong with it, fully functional - in fact I'm typing this reply from it :).
