Hi.

Recently I went searching to find out which games CAN run under VirtualPC, without much success. Plenty of people saying you can't play games in VirtualPC, but as I already do so, I know that to just be a loa of rubbish. OK, I admit, performance is far from brilliant, but as i prefer adventure games, this isn't really a big deal for me.

So, does anyone know of any site that gives a list of known compatible games?

Anything that doesnt require a 3D accelerator card will work.

Minesweeper, Solitaire...

Basically, anything that's not 3D; or even heavily graphics intensive in 2D. (If the box says '32 MB Direct3D 9.0 compatible card or higher', avoid it.)

Just to pile on here... Some older DOS games (e.g. Jutland) can be made to work in Virtual PC, where they WON'T work in Windows XP.

Say, Virtual PC experts: I've built VPCs for BeOS, FreeDOS and Plan9 with no trouble, but I can't get OS/2 Warp 4 to work. It hangs in the installation "floppy". Anyone have any suggestions?
