Specs are in the sig, how much you figure it's worth?

I'd guess that it is worth about $250-300. Sadly, they are starting to get a little long in the [saw]tooth. :D

I'd say $250 tops.

That's about what I figured. So asking $300 shipped to the US isn't out of line I take it.

I have a CD-RW I could swap in instead of the DVD-ROM. Would that be better to sell it with?

Yeah, I think that would be fare. But it is only worth what someone is willing to pay. The RAM and SCSI increase the value obviously.

I even have a spare 256MB I could throw in (2x128MB). I won't be using it in anything.

I'd say give the CD-RW as part of the deal if that is what it takes to sell it. It might be hard to find someone to buy the Sawtooth and the CD-RW throw-in might help you sell it. What are you going to do with a spare CD-RW anyway? They are pretty cheap now and DVD burners are really cheap too.

Oh, I think it is. ITASOR got his PowerMac G4 shipped to him for $20 (it was in the US), so I'd say $275 tops shipped.

It's sitting in a G3/400 I gave to a friend. I really don't want to leave him without any optical drive.

I had to install the DVD because I wanted to install Tiger. I figured it's handier to play movies too.

Where on Earth can I have this beast shipped for $20?

Oh. Well then, the CD-RW throw-in really isn't an option.

Put it up for sale for $300 shipped and see what happens. The sawtooth is still a very capable machine for many applications.

Oh, this also has dual 10/100 NICs, for whatever it's worth.

Hey, runs Tiger fine. I'm at that crossroads. Do I use this as a tertiary machine, upgrade it, or just sell.

If I could get $300, or even $275, I'd probably sell.

If I were in your position, I would sell it for whatever I could get. Are you really going to use this Sawtooth instead of your new iMac? I wouldn't.

If you can't sell it, you could always donate the machine to a church, salvation army, and etc. They will find a nice home for the machine.

Well I've got a lot of advice in this thread. If anyone wants details, etc. on the machine, or wants to make an offer, no matter how low, feel free to PM me.

Yeah, $300 shipped is quite fair. Good luck, and I'm sure it will sell.

No. Maxwell Smart (on here) shipped it and I think he said it was around $26 something for FedEx home delivery. Nice and fast 3 day delivery though!

I would belive $26. I'll have to have this packaged though, don't want any damage done during shipping. Wouldn't think that would be bad though.
