No idea what RAM sticks are in there... I don't really have the time to get around to opening the case :D

the case is soooooooo easy to open, just slide the speaker grill slightly to the left, it pops right off, then the keyboard lifts out (no screws, though it might be a little stiff) and there are like 5-6 screws holding a shield down where the RAM sticks are. I could really use the ones on the right, assuming they are the right size, to upgrade my pb :D

Original OS 7 System Disks
Original ClarisWorks and QuickTime 2 disks.
Pics of disks please? I'm sort of interested (Old Mac Junkie :D)

Alright, I guess that only took a minute :D

There is a 32MB RAM upgrade chip in there. I could sell that to you, or just give you the whole system for $40, shipped.

im_to_hyper
Feb 28, 2006, 10:34 PM
These don't take the standard Mac VGA - VGA converter, so I have never tested them. I am going based off of minimum likely specs.

30MHz PowerPC 601
8-72MB RAM
700MB HD
Floppy
CD-ROM
OS 7.5 up to 9.1 (9.2.2 using OS Helper)

I have one keyboard and mouse, too.

Also, everyone else, Note 1400cs changes. the 32MB RAM chip has been sold and the clear cover traded for a black one.

Sure, that is no problem, check you PM for my PayPal address. :D

This is the white model but without the TV card. It would still make a great BeOS machine though if you are interested in it.

The three PowerBook 150s are now sold to macg4and the 1400cs are now sold to ravenvii.

The PowerBook 3400c laptops mentioned above can be hacked to run OS X using XPostFacto, which I was currently working on, although it seems to have a problem recognizing the processor when XPostFacto'ing.

I hope he sent that laptop before he went off and cancelled. I already paid him and all.

Edit: This might sound insensitive, but I've had experiences with eBay users who take my money, then claim that he's in the hospital, or that he's his wife and that he's dead, and ******** like that. So I might be jaded towards this, but if he's legitimately in the hospital, then I wish him well, and he can take him time sending me the laptop.

Hey there --- I am out now as of yesterday, will be back to my city tommorow.

The 1400cs will be going out tommorow -- my dad was too worried about me to be able to ship it out for me during my stay for me.

I am really sorry about the delay in getting that out for you.

Also: if everyone could PM me to remind me of what transactions we had going on that would be really great.

Anyone else with stuff going on, let me know.

patimian what about that 3400c?!?!!?

Mar 23, 2006, 02:33 AM
Them Performas are actually PowerMac 6100s with a different name.

They're probably 60 or 66 MHz. I have a 6100, they're pretty nice. I just dropped 64MB into it and a 9GB hard disk alongside the G3 250 card that came in it.

What would have to happen for me to be able to run one of those LCII's on a vga monitor? Is it worth it money wise? do they come with an OS?
consider 1 sold (maybe 2) pending a response

Mar 23, 2006, 05:27 PM
I have replied to someone letting them know their stuff was shipped out -- I will be back in four days to double-check with my dad.

The LCIIs have an adapter to work with VGA monitors -- just plug them in.
